As a fan of orchestral music, author Derrick Davis created a soundtrack album for ‘Invertiverse.’ While he didn’t know how to write music, he composed the score by recording himself humming nearly every track, then had them all translated and orchestrated by additional composers. The collaboration produced an engaging thematic score that stands on its own but is also a perfect way to musically relive the story. Some music is actually referenced in the novel, and a few tracks were even performed by real orchestras. Several promotional videos also feature selections from the score, and the audiobook (coming soon; read masterfully by Patrick Kelly Shannon) includes special musical appearances.
