Various appearances of author Derrick Davis to promote & sell his novel ‘Invertiverse.’
On November 7–9, 2025, Derrick was part of the Twentynine Palms Book Festival promoting ‘Invertiverse‘ and selling signed copies—all of which SOLD OUT. Postcards with some of the novel’s illustrations, stickers, and the soundtrack CD were also available. “Dennis,” a dog-sized pet dinosaur character from the novel, was also there—offering free business cards from his pet bowl. On the second night, Derrick gave a special reading from his novel’s prologue during the ‘Voices Of The Desert’ event. The entire festival included a great community of authors & readers and it was wonderful for him to get to know everyone!
The very first store to carry ‘Invertiverse’ was Cactus Mart in Morongo Valley, CA.

My mom’s display for ‘Invertiverse’ at Pioneer Crossing Antiques in Yucca Valley, CA—featuring a local newspaper article that showcased the novel. 
29 Palms Book Festival Display (2025)
‘Invertiverse‘ is available at several local retail stores. This includes: Cactus Mart (Morongo Valley, CA), California Welcome Center (Yucca Valley, CA), & Pioneer Crossing Antiques (Yucca Valley, CA). All copies available at these locations feature a signature by author Derrick Davis. The novel was also available at the 29 Palms Book Festival & the Desert General Store (29 Palms, CA) in November, 2025.
A free book promo happened the day after ‘Invertiverse’ was published, which was found by a lucky hiker. (06-04-2025)
